What does a Adoption Counselor do? VIRTUAL - aka can be done via a computer from home or phone calls
- Assist with listing kitties online when needed (take photos, write a quick bio, and send an email to list them online)
- Collect adoption questionnaires from prospective adopters
- Screen potential adopters according to Kitten Rescue Adoption Criteria (training available!)
- Arrange a Meet’n’Greet with possible kitties and the potential adopter
- Home Visit of potential adopter either before at the same time as delivery of the kitty to their new home
- Collect adoption fee and complete adoption paperwork.

Kitten Rescue rescues cats, kittens, and dogs from area shelters and off the streets and finds them loving forever homes. We hold weekly adoption events at locations throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Check our Website at kittenrescue.org for more information.
