Make a positive impact in the lives of Green Bay girls through education, outreach, and mentoring.
TechGYRLS is a program through the YWCA of Greater Green Bay. TechGYRLS works to inspire and empower school-age girls through activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
As a TechGYRLS mentor, you will assist the Youth Program Coordinator in facilitating STEAM activities at Green Bay schools and the YWCA.
Additionally, volunteers have the opportunity to craft lessons and camps based off their own expertise. If you have a STEAM-related passion, share it with the girls by leading a lesson!
Opportunities include: facilitating lessons in Green Bay schools, assisting in 4-hour Saturday theme camps, assisting with Summer Camp activities, gathering and organizing data, distributing registration forms and fliers, community networking, and more.
