Position Title - First Impressions Team (FIT)
FIT members can work from anywhere where they have internet connection and a phone.
Purpose of the Position
FIT members are the first contact many people in need will have with our organization. This is how we get all the information we need to make sure a homeowner qualifies for our services.
Responsibilities and Duties
Call homeowners that have requested assistance from Rebuild Upstate and ask all the questions from the Internal Referral Form.
Give clear concise answers to the questions.
Once completed, make sure all answers are recorded on the Internal Referral Form.
Record what happened with your phone calls in the active FIT call log.
Report any problems to FIT Coordinator.
FIT members should be able to handle talking with sensitive populations. Many of the homeowner situations can be depressing and sad, but know that you are helping them.
Any time given to this is greatly appreciated. We would like at least 5 calls made per week.
Training will be given before serving duties and as needed for any changes that arise to our process.
