The Gala of Hope is looking for new committee members to help make our sixth year the best yet!

We need help:

• Recruiting new sponsors
• Selling event tickets
• Hosting small fundraisers (like online pop-up parties, give back nights at local retailers and restaurants, etc.) to raise funds
• Solicit for unique silent and live auction items
• Securing in-kind donations to offset event costs
• Creating content to promote the gala on social media
• Spread awareness about SMA!

We host fun committee meetings for our volunteers. Joining our committee will allow you to network with a large group of local business and community leaders. We need you to help us defeat SMA! Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is the number one genetic cause of death for infants. It affects 1 in 10,000 live births, and 1 in 50 americans are carriers. SMA robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat, or breathe. Currently, there is no treatment or cure.
