Founded in 1993, the BBCC continues to be a grass-roots organization, providing an array of patient support services, education and advocacy programs. The BBCC focuses on five essential goals... Prevention - Research - Education - Services - Support .

Description

Community grassroots non-profit Breast Cancer Organization offering comprehensive community services and expanded to include services for those diagnosed with any gynecological cancer. Our main program is:

Lend A Helping Hand
Established in 1996, Lend A Helping Hand (LAHH) provides direct services to individuals recovering from recent breast or gynecological cancer surgery and those undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation for those cancers. Clients choose from a variety of services that will lighten the stress cancer treatment creates for both the patient and family, including:

  • House cleaning (bonded and insured)
  • Door-to-door transportation to medical appointments
  • Financial assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Massage therapy
  • Childcare
  • and More...

Every effort is made to ensure assistance continues through the duration of treatment. Services are
provided regardless of income and are tailored to meet the individual needs of the client.
