To assist Seton Center in welcoming visitors and directing traffic for an Open House event. Provide safety, hospitality and direction through positive interactions with visitors.
* Courteously greet those driving onto, around or off Seton Center property.
* Direct vehicle drivers, informing them of traffic patterns.
* Assist drivers in parking for most efficient use of available lot spaces.
* Welcome visitors as they exit their vehicle - greet, answer questions and provide direction to appropriate access entrance doors.
* Politely inform/remind visitors of Seton Center policies, such as prohibited tobacco or vaping products
* Other duties as requested by the Traffic Control Team leader.
* Volunteer should be a team player and enjoy volunteering independently
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* General understanding of positive traffic flow
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate directions and safety policies in a friendly manner
* Safety equipment/apparel must be worn; will be provided by Seton Center

Description
Seton Center, Inc. is a social service organization in northern Frederick County MD. We provide financial assistance for mortgage, rent, utility, clothing and medical expenses. We also offer the Seton Family Store (thrift shop), and case management, programs and services to guide and support client growth in the areas of life skills such as literacy, financial and health management.
We serve those living at the federal poverty AND/OR the ALICE (Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed) rate; those working for wages that do not support even the basic living expenses. We believe that each person is unique and should be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of race, creed or financial status.
