OBJECTIVE: To assist program staff with administrative based tasks such as filing, paperwork, making copies, scan, and data entry.
TIME REQUIRED: Flexible, minimum 4 - 6 hours per week, Mon. - Fri., 9AM to 5PM.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
Capable and interested in working with people of diverse languages and cultures
Possess a sense of hospitality, flexibility, patience and good humor
Ability to work with people of limited English proficiency
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
OUTLINE OF SERVICES:
Assist health department staff members with administrative based duties such as preparing folders for newly arrived clients, scan, and copies of client documents. Entering data into system (not necessary be computer illiterate).
SUPERVISOR: Health Program Manager

Description
The Refugee and Immigrant Services Department houses a number of programs all geared towards refugee assistance and self-sufficiency. Fleeing their homes from persecution or war, we feel that refugees have a right to live their lives openly without fear of persecution. We have developed our programs around this ideology. They are all designed to help refugees find gainful employment, develop their English skills, find them housing, and acculturate them to their new surroundings.
