Gerinet Hospice has a large and growing presence in Green Valley and we want volunteers for our patients! Training will be November 10, 15 and 17, 2016 from 10am to 2p at 600 S La Canada in Green Valley.
When you volunteer, you join a group that is an integral part of the Gerniet Healthcare family. We can match your skills, interests and availability with the following patient care volunteer positions:
Providing companionship
Playing games, watching a movie
Relieving caregivers (but doing no hands on care)
Reading stories, looking at photos
**Previously Certified Pet Therapy Animals and their owners are especially welcome!
**Musicians of all kinds welcome!!

Remita Health (Rem-Purpose; ita-Way) was founded on the commonly held belief and vision of its Founders, with well over 50 years of combined health care and hospice expertise. We believe that the end-of-life experience should be one of total dignity and respect for the individual sanctity and quality of life.
The volunteer program at Remita Health is for those who want to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Our volunteers usually make commitments that last from weeks to months, and it typically involves visits during daytime hours. We encourage our volunteers to focus on providing comfort, support, and companionship to patients and their families, wherever they may reside.
If you’re searching for a valuable, heartfelt and rewarding role, and you're 18 years of age or older, we welcome you to join the Remita Health volunteer program.
