We are looking for individuals to lead cooking classes one day a week. Cooking classes are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm -6:30 pm. Cooking classes consist of 4-6 children between the ages of 6 and 11. The children in the class will be the same each week. Individuals will be responsible for coming up with lesson plans, recipes, and shopping lists. We will purchase the items needed. We are looking for volunteers to begin imediately.

Description

The Neighborhood Resource Center is a grassroots educational and cultural center fostering personal growth and community change. The Neighborhood Resource Center has a Montessori Preschool for children that are 2 1/2- 5 years old. The NRC also offers a wide range of educational and creative arts programs for youth aged 6 and up. Lastly, the NRC provides continuing education and career support services, encourages healthy living habits, and provides opportunities for adults to become more active in the community.
