We are Sustainable Surplus - a nonprofit that supports teachers, other nonprofits, military and start-up organizations. We seek help in our resale shop, called ReUse 4 Good, in Escondido where we sell lightly used office furniture and supplies, computers, electronics at very low prices.
We have openings for volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am - 5 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am - 2 pm. If you are not available for 6 hours at a time, we can work with you on that.

Mission Statement
Sustainable Surplus Exchange supports hundreds of educational, charitable and start-up organizations through the redistribution of donated surplus assets from commerce - everything from office supplies and furniture to computers and lab equipment. We practice, educate, and build awareness of sustainability, as well as reduce the carbon footprint of waste by diverting items from the landfill.
Description
The goal of the Sustainable Surplus Exchange is to help companies recycle and repurpose their surplus or idle assets back into the community of non-profit organizations including but not limited to schools, colleges and universities, as well as charitable organizations, through the donation channel. We have impacted over 400 local organizations and diverted 370,000 pounds from the landfill!
