Archway Housing and Services is a non-profit that builds and manages affordable housing communities for low-income families. We also provide free, on-site social services to our residents including adult educational classes, community events, and youth enrichment programming.
We are currently looking for a Youth Cooking Teacher at our East Denver location. Our youth are very interested in learning basic recipies that they can duplicate at home. The class size would be 5-10 youth. Our programming runs Monday - Friday 3-5:30 pm. We are looking for someone to teach once a week for one-two hours.

Description
Archway Communities was founded with the belief that affordable housing is a crucial element in building healthy communities. In pursuit of that belief, we seek opportunities to purchase vacant land for new construction or renovate obsolete multifamily developments. Shortly after we were founded, we began to recognize that residents need more than affordable housing to stabilize their lives - many were struggling with challenges like food insecurity, recovering from chronic homelessness, unemployment, single parenting, obtaining citizenship, and others. Archway Communities instituted the Supportive Services Program- resident focused, on-site programming- to address the needs of those living in our communities beyond simply providing a roof over their heads.
