The American Diabetes Association is seeking volunteers for our first of two walks. Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Montrose Harbor located at 601 W. Montrose Harbor Drive Chicago, IL 60613. This event is a fundraising 5k Walk that raises funds for critical research to prevent and cure diabetes.

This volunteer opportunity will be on day of event. There will be many places to volunteer! This shift will have a large focus on breaking down the event! We will need help breaking down tables and chairs, packing up supplies, loading items back onto the truck and general claen up of the event site.

We do ask that for lifting tables and chairs, you be able to lift at least 35lbs. There will be many other opportunities during this shift that will not require heavy lifting.

We are looking for fun, energetic and hard working volunteers! Are you up for the challenge?
