The American Diabetes Association is seeking volunteers for our first of two walks. Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Montrose Harbor located at 601 W. Montrose Harbor Drive Chicago, IL 60613. This event is a fundraising 5k Walk that raises funds for critical research to prevent and cure diabetes.

This volunteer opportunity will be set up the day before the event. There will be many places to volunteer! This shift will have a large focus on the whole event site set up! There will be a lot to move and set in place before the event site opens. For this shift we ask that you be able to lift at least 35lbs. We will need help moving tables and chairs and unlaoding boxes of supplies to their designated tent areas.

**This shift time may vary as it will depend on how much work gets done. This time frame is based on the window of set up are given for our event site.**

We want all of our volunteers to be fun,energetic and ready to work! Are you up for the challenge?
