Assist adult students as they work to improve their quality of life by improving their basic literacy and academic skills, and study to obtain their HSE (formerly known as the GED). Free tutor training is provided by The Literacy Alliance.
This location is one of nine learning center volunteering opportunities offered. This particular learning center is located at The Summit; meeting times are Tues. & Thurs. 10:00 AM -12:00 PM.

Description
Learning centers enable adult students to prepare to earn their High School Equivalency (HSE, past: GED) and strengthen basic skills for job training and post secondary education. One-on-one tutoring helps adults strengthen their basic reading, math, and language skills.
