Hearts for Homes

Become a part of eliminating substandard housing in Kootenai County! We have opportunities for individuals to join our fundraising committee. This opportunity is a partial year (June-February) volunteer opportunity.
Volunteers for this committee work together to create events for the community to donate to Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho. This volunteer opportunity is a no hammer needed opportunity! We specifially plan or organize the Hearts for Home Sweethearts Ball on Valentines Day Saturday 2/14/26.
Individuals do not need specific skills, however it is helpful to have experience in:
Data EntryOffice Computer Programs
Internet and Social Media Platforms
Effective Communication and Customer Service-Help acquire sponsorships and donations
Office Equipment

This is great for college students looking to improve skills needed in the office!

HfHNI is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God's love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. As a Christian ministry our primary outreach is to eliminate substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
