Optimal Hospice is actively recruiting for more volunteers in the Kern County Area. We have needs in the Greater Bakersfield area, as well as all of the outlying communities, including Lake Isabella, Taft, Arvin/Lamont, Delano, and Shafter. We have openings for Patient Family Respite, Facility Companion, Bereavement Program, Carepals Pet Therapy, Karaoke Program, Veteran to Veteran Program and Seamstress Program. Bi-lingual speakers and interns are encouraged to call. We are already taking reservations for our September 15th New Volunteer Orientation in Bakersfield. All training is provided for free.
