Mission Statement
Our mission is: Improving and saving the lives of homeless pets in Collier County since 1982. We do this by: 1. Rescuing homeless kittens, providing them with loving foster homes, appropriate healthcare including spay or neuter and microchipping, until they reach adoption age. We then work to find them loving, forever homes. 2. Reducing the birthrate of unwanted and unplanned puppies and kittens with spay and neuter outreach and financial assistance programs, including for feral cats. 3. Reducing pet diseases by providing low cost dog and cat vaccinations and worming medication at our shot clinics. We currently have three clinics a year in areas where the greatest need exists, including one in Immokalee. 4. Assisting financially stressed pet owners by providing pet food so that they can keep their pets. In some cases, we adopt neighborhoods and work with families to improve their pet care including surgeries.
