Welcome to the 8th Annual Utah Pacific Island Heritage Month Kick Off as declared by Govenor Herbert. We need 75 volunteers that are interested in working at least one 2 hour shift the day of the Kick Off, Saturday July 25, 2020.

We are needing volunteer committee members to organize this event starting this month thru the event which is in July. We will meet once a month for an hour and then more often as we get closer.

This year we had about 1000 people that attended and next year we expect so many more as this event is a SL County Youth Explorer Event. Passports are picked up at any Library and make sure you bring it. Attend 5 of the 10 destinations (events) and the Youth Explorer has earned them into the end of Summer Bash at Clark Planetarium where prizes will be given away.

this year we had 90 booths, Free trampoline jumping, Wellness Bus with free health screenings, 8 Cultural Booths with activities, hourly raffles if you visit each of the Cultural Booths. Childrens Corner. stage with entertainment.

We need volunteers for the Information Booths, Childrens Corner, Volunteer Area, Garbage Patrol, Runner, VIP Ambassadors and much more. For more information email susi@pik2ar.info or call 808-799-0522.
