This is an opportunity to come out and get some hands on experience with our rescue animals. Priorites are feeding, cleaning up after, and walking the animals as well as paying special attention to and loving them.

Mission Statement
Ashland Animal Rescue Fund, Inc., (AARF) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that strives to reduce the number of euthanized companion pets in our area by networking them to no-kill shelters, animal rescues, and sanctuaries and adopting them out locally. AARF is staffed by a group of dedicated volunteers that focus on reducing the number of euthanized cats and dogs in the Ashland, Kentucky area.
Description
Our organization pulls last chance animals from local shelters as well as takes in unwanted pets. We fully vet our animals and care for them at our kennel facility and in foster homes until they are sent to other no-kill rescues or adopted locally. Finally, in an effort to reduce the pet overpopulation, we also ensure that all companion animals "networked" to appropriate rescues are spay/neutered before going to rescue, unless age or existing medical condition prevents such alteration. AARF is comprised of volunteers who love animals, and are dedicating to saving lives by offering these animals second chances.
