RNF

Red Note Foundation is a nonprofit that provides music education in the community where there is need. We are having our fourth annual benefit concert at the Mesa Arts Center. This is an orchestra and choir concert during the holidays. We will have a donation raffle in the lobby and admission will be can food to benefit the United Food Bank.

I am looking for an event intern that can give 3-5 hours each week from August-December. Time varies.

The event intern will do the following:

-Secure in kind donations from business for our donation raffle (this involves phone calls, letter writing, emailing, and driving to secure and pick up donations)

-Assist the volunteer coordinator in recruiting volunteers for the event

-Attend at least two Red Note meetings (We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month)

-Attend at least one rehearsal (Rehearsals are every Sunday starting in October)

-Assist Red Note staff at event

This is great experience for a college student studying communication and event coordination. It's also a great way to build your skill set and resume.
