Do you belong to a group or organization and want to find a volunteer opportunity that 6 of your group can do in the late afternoon (approx 4-7.00pm)? Then this opportunity might just be for you!

We invite small groups to come to the Ronald McDonald House and prepare a lovely home cooked meal for our families. Dinner groups will purchase the food, then prepare it in our well equipped kitchen. You will be making food for between 10 and 20 people.

Dinner groups should be no larger than 6 people - if your group is larger than 6 please request a second date to accommodate everyone who wants to help. At this time we cannot accept minors (13 years and younger) to participate in this activity. The families that stay at Ronald McDonald Houses are often far away from family and other support systems that would help them through a difficult time. They return to the House after a long day at the hospital, and cooking a meal for themselves may be low on their priorities. The chance for these families to sit down to a home-cooked meal is another way that makes the Ronald McDonald House truly a "home away from home" for families whose children are critically ill.
