The Arc Greater Twin Cities is hosting a Health and Wellness Expo designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and caregivers on Saturday, October 1 st from 9am - 1pm. This expo, to be held at Hamline University in the Anderson Center, was created to raise awareness about the importance of diet, exercise and overall wellness and to connect individuals with disabilities of all ages and/or their caregivers to wellness resources available to them in the community. To make this expo a success, volunteers ambassadors are needed for 3 hour shifts to assist with logistical needs like set up, clean up, vendor assistance, directing guests to registration, distributing campus maps, etc. To volunteer, contact Michelle Theisen at michelletheisen@thearcgtc.org or at 952-920-0855.

Description
The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
