Do you live or work in South Seattle/Rainier Beach/Othello/Brighton neighborhoods? Are you invested in your neighborhood, and care about finding ways to stabilize and preserve homeownership? If so, sign up today to help with Habitat for Humanity's Resident Surveying on throughout the month of August. We will be going door to door and ask neighborhors what they like about their neighborhood, and what they would like to see improved. We will train everyone on the day of the survey, so you don’t need any experience. We will also be providing free T-shirts to volunteers on those days.
Sign ups can be found here:http://seattle-habitat.volunteerhub.com/Events/Event/Summary.aspx?EventID=4106143
Join us as we launch into this Neighborhood Revitalization project!

Mission Statement
In Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties, and around the world, Habitat for Humanity brings people together as volunteers, homeowners, donors, and community members to create strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Working with volunteers, families, individuals, corporations, congregations, and donors, we are able to address the critical need for affordable housing throughout Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties. We are dedicated to making homeownership possible for low-income, hardworking families and individuals. In our community, Habitat for Humanity constructs affordable homes, repairs homes for income-qualified homeowners and seniors, operates discount home improvement stores in Auburn, Southcenter, Bellevue, and Ellensburg, and mobilizes nearly 4,500 volunteers a year.
Description
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
