TITLE: Community Partnerships Intern
ROLE: To build the American Red Cross of South Georgia’s disaster readiness and response capacity through partnerships and community presence
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement strategies to increase community awareness of the Red Cross mission
- Be a resource for local Red Cross chapter for research assistance
- Create "leave behind" and presentation materials for potential community partners about the importance of Red Cross and community collaboration
- Guide local Red Cross volunteers in relationship building and Memorandum of Understanding process
REPORTS TO: Disaster Program Manager
TIME COMMITMENT: 16-20 hours a week, flexible
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred that applicant be enrolled in a Master’s degree program or be a recent graduate. However, we also accept individuals that are in their final two years of undergraduate.
