Do you know what harmful contaminants are in your water? How it gets there? What effect it has on your families and environment? Save the Water(tm) (STW(tm)) is the one looking for answers.
STW(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. Save the Water(tm) is seeking for a dynamic and detail-orientated HR professional for the role of Executive Assistant to support the VP of Human Resources. The position holder will be responsible for enhancing HR's effectiveness by providing information management support and representing Human Resources group. The incumbent will also conduct research, data analysis, executing new projects, and collaborate across HR groups.
Volunteers are expected to put in a minimum of 5 per week and expected to be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conserves Human Resources Vice President's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Collaborating across groups and the HR verticals like Recruitment, Talent Management and Engagement & Development
Assist the HR Vice President in rolling out new strategy.
Complete the PWR at least on weekly minimum basis
Assist the Human Resources Vice President with tasks including, but not limited to:
Maintaining Google Drive organization and structure
Managing shared calendar and events
Filtering inboxes for all Human Resources Group emails, delegating or responding to emails
Preparing and editing correspondence, documents, and presentations
Attending meetings & taking meeting minutes
Conducting research
Checklist Management
Excellent writing and editing skills
Attention to detail
Strong computer skills and internet research skills required
Ability to work well with all levels of internet management and staff
Knowledge of Google Drive and Gmail
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
