Assist the WSO with funding for the 2016-17 season. Many of our concerts are free and we are in need of donations from multiple crowd funding sites. You may also call on corporations and businesses to advertise in concert programs. Large corporations may wish to underwrite entire concerts. Volunteer should understand the arts as they relate to community, some sales and marketing but definitely passion for symphony music. Computer knowledge required to track donations and to manage Crowd Funding Sites created for the specific purposing of furthering the organization’s cause.

Mission Statement
The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra promotes the growth of fine arts in The Woodlands area by sponsoring concerts and educational programs emphasizing a blend of classical music with visual media for a diverse 21st century audience.
Description
The Woodlands Symphony hold large scale concerts in multiple venues throughout the year. The concerts range from pop music such as the Beatles to liturgical presentations with a yearly tradition of Handel's Messiah. The Woodlands Symphony has a number of professional musicians but remains true to the community by incorporating highly qualified volunteer musicians as well. The Woodlands Symphony will add educational components with student selections, new compositions, AV enhancement and pre-concert lectures. The Woodlands Symphony Artistic Director, Darryl Bayer selects the music and artists for each concert, however, guest conductors are invited to lead the orchestra adding a fresh interpretation to the literature each time.
