Our annual Stuff A Truck event is being held at all Omaha-area Hy-Vee stores from Thursday, August 16th- Sunday, August 19th to help fight hunger in our community.
Would you be willing to fill in a volunteer shift at your local Omaha area Hy-Vee store?
Volunteers will be stationed in the front entrance of all Omaha area Hy-Vee locations, and will be at a Heartland Hope Mission booth giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase $5 or $10 bags of groceries to feed families at our pantry.
***Kids of all ages are welcome to serve alongside their parents!***
Volunteer shifts available:
Thursday, 8/16- 4:30 pm-7 pm
Friday, 8/17- 4:30 pm-7 pm
Saturday, 8/18- 1 pm-3:30 pm, 3:30 pm-6 pm
Sunday, 8/19- 10:30 am-1 pm, 1 pm-3:30 pm, 3:30 pm-6 pm

Description
Heartland Hope Mission currently serves over 30,000 people each year by providing a weeks supply of food to the working poor. Additionally, families are able to choose hygiene items, clothing and household items. We provide free financial and credit basics classes to our clients to promote self-sufficiency. Our Christmas program serves over 1,000 children every year. We rely on 60-100 volunteers each week to serve at our pantry and for our fundraisers and special events. Be the Change in Your Community by serving families in need at our facility.
