The Treasurer shall monitor the operations accounts on a monthly
basis and report to the Board as appropriate. The Treasurer shall assist in the
preparation of the budget and advise and assist on making financial information
available to both co-op members and the Board. In addition, the Treasurer shall
serve as the liaison between the Board and its auditor.
Here is what the position entails:
- Reconciles bank and credit card accounts monthly
- Prepares monthly journal entries
- Reconciles and creates cash deposits weekly
- Monthly Financial Board Package Creation
- Creates ad hoc reports
- Prepares invoices for and follows up on membership equity payments
- Bill Pay including supervising AP volunteers
- Manages all banking accounts
- Reconciles accounts with POS System
- Plans and supervises the annual inventory count

The Doylestown Food Market and Community Programs offers convenient access to locally raised and produced foods; our purpose is to keep our local farmers and producers in business for generations to come. We also offer a range of community educational programs on food, our food system, health, and well-being, including a once a month book club and a quarterly film series.
