Are you active and into sports, and fitness/healthy living? Share your knowledge of sports, and staying active and fit with children who have visual impairments. Volunteers are needed to facilitate an adapted recreation course that introduces blind and low-vision students to all forms of recreation that is adapted to their special needs. Whether it's learning to climb a rock wall, playing games of ShowDown or Beep Kickball, or even being introduced to archery or tennis, students in this program will need adult volunteers to help with hand-over-hand activities.
