About

Description of Role:

Are you good at sales and want to use your skills to support a good cause? Do you like networking? Are you creative and enjoy developing fun events for people? We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals who will act as ambassadors of GROW’s mission with the purpose of raising funding for the organization. You will take the lead in fundraising activities with the support of G.R.O.W.’s core team.

Roles & Responsibilities may include (below are suggestions. You may take on one of the following activities or a number of the activities. To be decided by you and the Executive Director):

  • Reaching out to your personal network and/or attend networking events
  • Seeking out relatable opportunities in your community
  • Create fundraising activities and events (Creating a fundraising competition within the company you work for or within other companies)
  • Thinking outside the box for other ways to raise money for a good cause.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Enjoys networking
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Confident and persuasive
  • Creative thinking around the best ways to engage people in our mission
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities
  • Experienced at getting other people interested in what you do
