Cornerstone Assistance Network wants to place a Supportive Services VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) in its Cornerstone Comprehensive Care Program.
Pay: $990 per month BEFORE taxes
Cornerstone Assistance Network (CAN) is a non-profit, faith-based organization that has developed collaboration with providers since 1992 in order to provide comprehensive services to people in need throughout Tarrant County. The Supportive Services Division (SSD) of CAN assists network partners in providing food, clothing, and shelter to individuals and families. This division is made up of the Cornerstone Comprehensive Care Program and Cornerstone Emergency Services. In both services, case managers provide specialized services by assessing the needs and strengths of these individuals or families and then formulating a service plan designed to provide for their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
As a Supportive Services VISTA, you will perform the following duties:
Develop and implement a standardized system of goal setting and accountability for emergency services clients.
Assist the Cornerstone Comprehensive Care Program staff to identify more ways of expanding its donor base through advertisement, grant finding and writing, and in-person contacts.
Assist in completing funding projects that may include, but are not limited to, back to school event and music concert.
Develop relationships with new community partners for goods, services, and financial donations.
