After pausing the Road to Recovery program due to public health concerns during the pandemic, American Cancer Society is relaunching our volunteer driver program in the Harnett county area. In order to help more people, we need more drivers to sign up and provide that much-needed ride.
The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program gives people with cancer free transportation for cancer-related medical appointments. As a trained volunteer, you'll provide a critical service, driving cancer patients to and from their appointments and ensuring their access to care isn't prevented or delayed because of lack of transportation.
A few hours of your day could make a lifesaving difference. Connect with us to learn more about volunteer opportunities in your area.
