We are looking for volunteers to join our Tax-Aide free income tax preparation program for lower and middle income individuals and families.
Previous tax preparation experiences is not necessary, as we provide a comprehensive training program and provide all needed equipment.
We look for people who are i) PC Computer savvy, ii) Good with numbers, iii) well organized, and iv) and love to work with people.
This is a very rewarding opportunity to assist the many people who need help with their taxes.
We have locations in Nipomo, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Atascadero, and Paso Robles.
You can volunteer for one day a week during tax season, or more if you wish at a location near your home. We cover mileage expense.

Mission Statement
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides free tax preparation service to low to middle income individuals and families. While we have a special focus on those over 55 years of age, all ages are welcome.
Description
Throug a partnership with IRS, there are 35,000 volunteers working in 5,000 sites across the country providing free tax preparation services.
Locally we have nine sites from Nipomo on the South to Paso Robles on the North, staffed by a cadre of 70 volunteers.
