Help care for the Laguna and restore critical wildlife habitat- become a Laguna Steward! Each month we offer a different opportunity to take part in ensuring a brighter future for the Laguna.

Date: Once a month, usually the second or third Saturday of the month.
Time: start time 9:00am, end time 12:00pm
Location: Details of the site location announced 1-2 weeks in advance of the workday (various sites along the Laguna in Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park and Cotati)
Required Experience & Qualifications: No experience needed. Training is provided. Children are welcome but must be able to participate. Please supervise your child at all times.

Tasks vary depending on the season and include removing old irrigation hardware from successful restoration projects, sewing seeds, planting native plants and trees, and weeding. Joining the Laguna Stewards is a fun and meaningful way to volunteer while enjoying the outdoors and sharing the company of like-minded people.

Only heavy rain cancels. You can come once or multiple times. No RSVP is required, unless you are bringing a group of 4 or more people. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Snacks and tools are provided but please bring water, gloves and friends!
