This strictly nonpartisan, year-long program provides students with opportunities to become more involved in their communities by collaboarting with others to organize voter registration and get out the vote efforts in their schools, take part in civic action in their communities, and learn first-hand how they can be voices of change in our democracy.
The "Inspired Year" kicks off with our Leadership Academy where you will learn and apply critical thinking skills, improve your leadership and facilitation techniques, build effective teams and cultivate the knowledge and abilities needed to amblify your voice. As the year progresses, you will build off of what you learned at Leadership Academy to not only get your peers to the polls, but also learn to harness your power as young Coloradans to work with state and local leaders to get things done in your community.
