Community English Partnership for New Americans (CEPNA) is a volunteer run community program that gives current and former refugee clients and other Non-English-speaking members of the community the chance to learn English, starting from square one. The program plays an important role in helping new Americans adapt to life in their new home & build lasting relationships with community members.

Core CEPNA Co-Teachers

The heart of this program is the classroom itself, and the communities that are created within them. We are always looking for folks who are interested in taking their role to the next level and becoming a lead teacher. We do not require formal credentials. For new teachers, we often pair individuals up into co-teaching units, in order to provide support and schedule flexibility. This is a great opportunity for retired teachers, home school parents, TEFL students, and more! If you are interested in this role, please contact Sarah to be connected to the lead teacher resources and receive further direction.
