Help serve meals to Minnesotans living with HIV/ AIDS. Our kitchen in South Minneapolis makes 10 hot meals a week: lunch every weekday (11:30 am-2:30 pm), dinner Monday-Thursday (4:30 pm -7:30 pm), and brunch on Saturday (10:30 am- 1:30pm). You can come as an individual or with a friend. You can volunteer weekly, every-other week, or as an occassional fill-in volunteer.
Cooking skills not required. Volunteers primarily greet members, serve food, wipe down the tables, and help with dishes. Another bonus is that we feed you! Volunteers are an important part of the community and therefore fully invited to eat with the community. The food is great!
