The American Cancer Society hosts thousands of fundraising events world wide to raise money that is used for community education programs, patient care programs, and ultimately to fund research to end cancer!
At this time we are actively looking for some eager, friendly, outgoing individuals to join our NEW event Promotion Street Team. Volunteers who join our street team will attend a variety of events in order to promote the American Cancer Society's events with the goal of raising event awareness and attendance.
Events that will be promoted can include Golf Tournaments, Relay For Life, 5K Walk/Runs, etc.
If you have a passion for volunteering and want to see a cure for cancer found in your lifetime, then volunteering with the American Cancer Society is the right place for you!

Description
The American Cancer Society's aim is to help people Stay Well, Get Well, Find Cures, and Fight Back.
We have free programs for cancer patients and their families, such as Road to Recovery, which gives rides to cancer patients to their treatment. We also have support programs, educational programs, and information for people.
The American Cancer Society's main fundraiser is Relay For Life, which helps fund our mission.
