Mission Statement

Changing statistics ONE LIFE at a time. Our Mission: The mission of Embassy of Hope is to provide professional counseling, mentoring, advocacy, and education to adults, children, and families overcoming sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking. We also offer programs on prevention and awareness education, diversion programs to end demand, and prostitution intervention. We are an educational resource about these topics to the community of Bexar County and surrounding areas. We are a faith based 501(c) 3 tax-exempt ministry that has been offering services since 2007.

Description

Embassy of Hope offers counseling services for victims of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, prostitution and human trafficking through licensed professional counselors. Embassy of Hope is a safe place where clients experience personal attention in an environment that promotes a sense of family and acceptance. We provide an outlet for victims to receive mentoring, education, love, and a forum to reclaim their lives, dreams, and ambitions. We advocate for victims who have experienced this trauma. We offer diversion programs to end demand by sponsoring a school for Johns. EOH sponsors the Purse Project which hands out purses with toiletry items to homeless women in San Antonio. We are the 'go between' for families who would like to anonymously adopt a client or family for Christmas or year round.

Embassy of Hope has strict requirements for confidentiality for clients as part of our licensing requirements. There are no volunteer activities that allow you to work directly with clients. That job is left to the trained counselors and professionals that we employ. However, there are many other ways you can support this valuable ministry. Your help and support in these areas allow us to focus on our most important job - THE CLIENTS!
