Habitat for Humanity’s mission is growing, and to keep pace with the expanding need for affordable home ownership, our affiliate’s ReStore is adding a new location this upcoming fall. At the ReStore, new and used furniture, building supplies, appliances, and home goods are sold at discounts ranging from 50-90% off. Customers benefit from a good deal while doing a good deed, with all sales supporting Habitat’s mission in Burlington and Mercer County.
As our affiliate moves to open a new ReStore showroom, we are in need of dedicated volunteers to become leaders on our ReStore team. Volunteer Leaders receive specialized training, and commit to volunteer 8 hours per week, every week, in their specialized role. We are looking for community leaders, passionate about Habitat’s mission and eager to make an impact.

The vision of Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County and Greater Trenton Princeton is to empower families by securing their own homes, transform neighborhoods, improve the quality of life in the communities we serve, and positively affect the lives of partner families, volunteers, and others that come in contact with Habitat.
Description
Habitat for Humanity Burlington County and Greater Trenton-Princeton was formed in 1987 as an outgrowth of a United Way housing force. HFHBCGTP is an Ecumenical Christian housing ministry open to all. HFHBC builds new and rehabilitated homes throughout the year. The homes are sold at no profit with no interest on the mortgage. We give priority to families with young children and to projects that are expected to stabilize existing neighborhoods.
The ReStore is a retail opperation that supports the affordable hosing program. The ReStore resells new and used items to the general public at 50-75% off retail price. The ReStore is a green alternative; the store helps to divert 1,000 of tons of materials from landvilles each year. We couldnt do what we do without our volunteers.
