Volunteering at Saturday Book Sales hosted by the Mount Pleasant Library Friends is a fun way to get to know your community, sort cool used books and raise funds for library programming! We hold the book sale every Saturday from 11-2pm. But you choose which Saturdays work best for your schedule.
New volunteers join a Saturday book sale for a training session and are paired with Mount Pleasant Library Friends board members as they learn the ropes. Tasks include sorting and shelving donations, helping customers and library patrons, and helping to set up, open and close the book sale.
