Looking for Ostomates who have good talking skills and understanding of the fears, needs, and sensitive discussions with new and existing ostomates needing an Ostomy Visitor to help them with their adjustment to their new normal. Certification required through our program, which training is provided for free (cost for printing material - est $7.00)
Work with the Local Ostomy Support group(s) to help get new members to join and to work towards better education of medical personnel and patients in the Southern Nevada area.
Also looking for individuals with ostomites who would be willing to operation and assist with some of the administrative, clerical and supply donations as well as initial phone calls from new ostomates, and others looking to donate supplies.
Work with the elected officers, CWOCN RNs and national organization as needed for various requirements.
