Help the Local Buffalo Soldiers Keep the History Alive! The 9th & 10th Horse Cavalry, Moses Williams Chapter of the NW could really use a great Secretary. The President needs help coordinating the events, helping with email communication & scheduling. This would be a flexible position as the Troop would appreciate any & all help. Ideally, the Secretary would come to the Buffalo Soldiers meetings @ two per month, on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays. If you are open to exploring the possibilites, contact us 4 details! You are welcome to come to one of the Buffalo Soldiers Meetings as well.

Mission Statement
The Moses Williams Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers was chartered as an affiliate of the National 9th and 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association in 1989. Our mission is to commemorate the historical significance of the role of conscripted African-Americans, who formed the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments of the United States Army and were known as the "Buffalo Soldiers". We are committed to preserving and recognizing the contributions of these brave men; educating others about the courage and integrity demonstrated by them; and establishing a standard of excellence and behavior worthy of these soldiers whose shoulders we stand upon.
