Job Purpose:
Load carts from just returned shelves into correct Dewey Decimal order and place books on appropriate shelves.
*Shelves may be short or low to the ground*
Duties:
- Maintain shelves in correct Dewey Decimal order.
- Maintain Fiction shelves in alphabetical order by author’s last name and book title.
- Shelf Reading.
- Shelve books in correct Dewey Decimal order.
- Sort returned materials to carts.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System and alphabetical and numerical rules.
