As a grant writing assistant for Migration Resource Center, your primary responsibility will be to search potential major donor prospect, founders, grantors and report to Grant Writing Manager. MRC is a newcomer to the grant-writing process.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Research in our management "Donor Search" potential major donors prospect; founders, and grantors
- Initiate and maintain relationships with grantors; Track and document communications
- Assist with updating and maintaining MRC donor database in "Donors Perfect" management
- Assist Grant Writing Manager as guided
Education: Junior, Senior, graduate student or recent graduate from an accredited university.
Experience: No Previous experience in research and/or grant writing.
Skills/Abilities: The qualified candidate should have excellent writing, verbal, proof reading, editing, phone and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will also be flexible team players, self-motivated and detail oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. Computer aptitude and Microsoft Office experience required.
