We are looking for energetic and passionate volunteers to lead our after-school literacy program at our partner school sites.
Position:
Reporting to the District Leader, the Site Leader will be responsible for all site-based operations at a partner school. The Site Leader will usually be the only certified employee on site and will be held responsible for quality implementation of the Read Better Be Better program.
A site leader must be:
* Able to motivate and direct large groups of students
* Energetic
* Positive
* Professional
* Patient
* Independent
* Passionate about Read Better Be Better; the organization, the mission, and the values
Must demonstrate exceptional:
* Judgment
* Empathy
* Drive
* Intellect
The site leader will always display absolute dedication to RBBB organizational mission and values.
Vision: A society in which children master the foundational skills necessary to become independent learners
Mission: To help children master reading comprehension in 3 ways: 1. Improve concentration 2. Encourage an active enjoyment of reading 3. Help develop a deeper understanding of what is being read.

Description
Read Better Be Better is an education nonprofit organization focused on solving Arizona's literacy crisis. We work with partnering schools throughout the state to connect young readers and youth leaders to inspire a love of literacy and learning. Since 2014, we have served thousands of Arizona students through our reading programs in over 60 schools across Maricopa County and multiple community-based organizations across throughout Arizona. Each school semester, we have expanded to serve even more kids, schools, and families. We are a mission-driven, collaborative community, and we welcome and are grateful to those seeking an opportunity to get involved.
