Serenity Hospice is looking for volunteers that would like to provide any of the following services In Salem, Eugene and Surrounding Cities:
- Certified therapy pet volunteers
- Music Therapy/Instrumental Volunteers
- Veteran Volunteers
- Spiritual Healing/ Prayer Volunteers
- Socialize with our patients
- Provide companionship
- Read or Sing to our patients
- Prepare a simple meal or snack
- Playing a game/cards with our patients
- Bereavement support
- End of life vigil support

We are privileged to provide end-of-life care and are dedicated to doing "Whatever It takes, when it matters most." We are rigorous in the ongoing evaluation of our performance and work to improve our process and results every day. We are committed to acting with integrity and having a positive impact on everyone with whom we come in contact. Using a holistic approach, Serenity Palliative Care and Hospice provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients (and their families) experiencing end-of-life transition. We believe that no one should die alone, afraid or in pain. Pain management is our main priority and alternative therapies are offered as a complementary means of treating pain. Serenity is also a proud partner of the We Honor Veterans Program. Serenity has developed our own V.I.P. Program as a special level of care designed for Veterans.

- After initial training time, 1+ hour per week
- For the safety of our patients, a drug screening, background check and tuberculosis test is required. The cost of these will be covered by Serenity Hospice.
