Hospice volunteers show they care in many ways by visiting the patient and family at home, in the nursing home, or wherever the patient resides.
You can assist by:
*Reading books
*Running errands
*Being a friend to the patient and family
*Providing companionship for both the patient and the family
If you are not interested in direct patient contact, there are still many ways in which you can support our hospice team!
They include, but are not limited to:
*Filing
*Assisting with community relations and special activities
*Making packets and other documentation
