Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of assigned VA support teams. The Administrative Assistant will support the VA Volunteer Service Site Coordinator and the VA Representative through a variety of tasks. The individual will be responsible for making sure all administrative tasks are complete and accurate
Duties:
- Assist in the recruitment of volunteer.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments when directed.
- Maintain contact list.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and form.s
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Process orders from the Angel Store.
- Provide general support to the VA Representative and VA Service Site Coordinator.
Required Minimum qualifications
- Computer proficiency, with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
