HFH of Goldsboro-Wayne

The Habitat ReStore sells gently used appliances and household items to the public. Proceeds fund the construction of Habitat homes in Wayne County. We accept ReStore volunteers each day to help us clean, sort, and price new merchandise. Our ReStore volunteers help us to keep our store up and running and build more homes for families in our community.

Our ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a place to live in dignity and safety.

We do not give our houses away. Rather, families partner with our agency to build homes at an affordable cost and pay a standard mortgage. That's the Habitat way- no handouts, no freebies, just a fighting chance to be successful.

Habitat has an open-door policy: All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. We have a policy of building with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.
